Lysinibacillus sphaericus is a bacteria capable of degrading petroleum hydrocarbons in only weeks. We designed a 100% organic mesh inoculated with this bacteria, that upon contact with soil affected by oil spills, transforms it into a thriving ecosystem.

How It Works

Living Mesh has a simple and functional design that allows the mesh to be ready to be deployed into hard-to-access locations affected by oil spills, turning large areas of contaminated land in just only 30 days.

WHY WE MADE IT

Pipeline attacks from illegal armed groups have created unforeseen ecological disasters, because land oil spills. This has led to a catastrophic shift in the natural habitat. With the pollution of soil, killing off wildlife. Because we believe that the true impact of scientific knowledge lies in its application beyond the lab, addressing real-world challenges by finding real solutions, we created Living Mesh: a solution harnessing the power of nature to heal itself to recover polluted soil by land oil spills.
